Run kid, run !

As Comet lied down on the cold, even ground, more panicked than beaten up, she realised just how pointless it was to fight against it. She couldn't match its strenght, powers or anything else. From the very begining she had been set up for an unwinnable battle. All her efforts, all her training, all the hope she was supposed to represent would be crushed in just a matter of seconds. With the metallic smell of blood in her mouth, the young she-cat wanted to move so badly, to just get as far away as possible, to flee but she can't. The monster had its look locked in her eyes, and the terror it inspired was freezing her on the spot. 

The moment she thought she was done for slowly came and she closed her blue eyes, waiting for the fatal blow, when suddenly the sound of an other cat running came to her ears. In a second, she recognised Téquilat jumping over her trembling body, fire following her front legs, fangs barren and ears flat on her skull. The surprised made her jump to her feet instantly, cowering behind the black cat. Téquilat did not tun around to check if Comet was alright but instead barked with urge :

"Run kid, run !"

A brief hesitation. Then, in the blink of an eye, the grey and white tabby fled, an ominious feeling tighting her throat.

Please forgive any mistake, it's so damn late at night lol.
Need sleep.
